 Central
Christian Academy Preschool curriculum goals have been developed
to make you aware of what your child will be exposed to
throughout the year. This is by no means a guarantee that
every child will be able to grasp all of these concepts.
The determining factor is where they are developmentally;
but your child will be exposed to all of these concepts.
The curriculum goals are extensive and provided
according to age by selecting the appropriate link on the
left for the 3 year old classes and/or 4 and 5 year old
classes.
The following goals are the same for all ages in the preschool:
BIBLE
- To
know God is the Creator of all things
- To
know the Bible is God's Word
- To
know Jesus is God's son. He died on the cross for our
sins, was buried and rose again
- To
know that daily prayer is important communication with
God
- To
learn godly character through stories, experiences and
daily life situations
SOCIAL
- To
help the parent and child separate easily
- To interact
with peers in a positive way
- To cooperate
in classroom routines
- To develop
self-help skills
- To
gain an understanding of the world around them
