Central Connection

Pathways
Pathways is a Central Christian ministry aimed toward professional singles and dating couples in their 20’s and 30’s.

The Mission of Pathways
Our mission is:

— To provide an opportunity for young Christian professionals to join together in biblical learning, spiritual leadership development, prayer, encouragement, evangelism/missions, musical worship, and fellowship.

Join us at Pathways...

Pathways is a contemporary casual ministry that meets on Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm in the multi-purpose room at Central Christian Church.

The worship band meets early to practice, and all are welcome to come early to enjoy the music and participate in a pre-meeting “jam session” with the band (bring your own instruments or just your voice!)

The meeting room is set up with round tables which allow group interaction during the lesson time. Each round table will have an assigned discussion leader to help guide the dialogue.

Pathways begins at 6:30 with a musical worship time, followed by prayer, then a welcome and group meet and greet period. Then, the lesson for the evening will be presented.

Pathways will have quarterly themes from which the weekly lessons will be developed. Various speakers will be utilized to present 1 to 6 week topics within the quarterly themes.

Pathways will wind down the evening with more music as time permits, and any relevant social or ministry/service announcements.

On the first Sunday of each month, the group will have a planned after-service fellowship time at Jason’s Deli/Marble Slab in Bradley Fair. On other weeks, everyone is encouraged to stay after the service and socialize, and even go out to eat in groups to continue the evening in fellowship.

*If you are interested in being a table leader, please contact Doug Barker at the church, or talk to anyone on the leadership team (these people will be identified at the meetings).

In addition, all participants will have the opportunity to sign up for various committees including missions, table facilitators, social activities, greeters, and music.
