Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Heather earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family therapy from Friends University in 2004, graduating summa cum laude.
She is certified in Prepare and Enrich assessments for couples and Heather works with children as well as adults. She has had training and supervision in the area of play therapy working with children experiencing grief, ADHD symptoms, behavior problems, and sexual abuse.
She has also worked in depth with adults and adolescents dealing with alcohol and drug addiction. Heather also has experience working with couples with marital issues, victims of sexual abuse, and individuals dealing with depression and divorce issues.
Heather works from a strengths based family system perspective, building on a person’s or families current strengths. Heather is married and has 3 beautiful boys.
