We have a garden on our 5 acre property at 3807 S Webb Road.
Fresh vegetables are grown and then provided to Central Christian Church’s Homeless Ministry, Union Rescue Mission and other ministries as crops allow.
Each spring we have the need for volunteers to work with our Chief Gardeners to prepare the ground, prepare seedlings and plan for the planting season.
The following garden tools are many times needed to work the garden.
Gardening gloves, kneeling pads, tomato cages, garden trowels, and a variety of other hand garden tools.
We also need clay and plastic flower ports (cleaned up), potting soil, soaker hoses, watering cans and garden hoses and nozzles.
