Our Ministry Purpose...
His Helping Hands is a community service ministry of Central Christian Church to help those living in the Wichita and Sedgwick County areas who are facing insufferable hardships, such as victims of natural disasters, families living below the poverty line, or those families  considered to be “at risk.”   HHH provides help to these families by distributing needed clothing, furniture, and other household items at no cost.

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”  Hebrews 4:16

Our Mission Statement...
His Helping Hands is a Christ-centered, benevolent ministry set up to assist families and individuals, primarily in the Wichita area, who are facing insufferable hardships, for the purpose of helping and encouraging those who are in the Body of Christ, and, helping and evangelizing those who are not yet in the Body of Christ.  By being the Hands of Christ in Helping others, we show the love of Christ in a practical way, thus ministering both to the clients and the donors by helping people, help people.

How is our Mission Accomplished?
Christian Friends from churches and the community donate clothing, furniture, appliances, and a wide variety of household items that HHH can sort and prepare to give away free of charge.  Beside the many donors, HHH uses a host of volunteers who receive, sort, prepare, warehouse, and ultimately distribute these items to those in need.  At the time of distribution, the HHH staff and volunteers meet with each client to pray for them and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
